While Michael and the team were in Haiti, the kids were sick. I came down with it when Michael returned. After getting over that...Michael got sick with an upper respiratory bug and in time all 5 of us had it. Fever, nausea, fatigue and the worst cough you could ever experience!!!
We are finally all healed and we spend a wonderful weekend at Edisto Beach State Park for my 39th Birthday. Last year, we started a tradition of going camping for my birthday. We were at Dreyer Island State Park in Prosperity last year and I spent most of the time praying that God would bring Clifford home.
It's so hard to believe that it's been 6 months already. He has learned so much and is so precious. He "sleepwalks" and last night he came into our room and laid down beside me on the bed. Once he was fast asleep again Michael picked him up and put him back into his bed...Michael returned to our room laughing...Clifford said - "kank you daddy!" when he laid him down.
I was so blessed at that moment to be his adoptive parent! It really did something to our hearts that even in his sleep he is secure and confident that he is loved and safe!
Thank you Jesus!!
