Since the earthquake occurred in Haiti, everyone has been asking me about adoption. Thankfully Clifford was home Sept. 2, but we still are waiting for his birth certificate that we requested. It was ready the week before the earthquake...I'm thinking that we will never get it!
I have found that when you adopt a child, you make a ton of friends who have also adopted or are in the process of adoption...
Last summer, while we were waiting on pins and needles for the visa to be issued, a friend of mine was at the orphanage. On Clifford's birthday, she took him upstairs and gave him cookies and a "new" shirt. That ministered to us and also meant so much for his special day to be special! She also sent us some pictures of him as he turned 5 years old.
Now it's my turn to minister to her. She is in the process of adopting two precious children from Haiti and she is trusting God for the finances that she needs to bring the kids home... If you can share $1, $5 or even $100 it would be such a blessing to her...pray about what God would have you to give...
