Who's Who???

Dr. Mike - Family Practice Doctor/Wound Care Specialist This is the 4th trip to Haiti for Dr. Mike.

Mr. Ron - Who knows how many times he's been to the orphanage??? Our adopted son hadn't seen him in months and when he saw him at our house he immediately knew who he was...There isn't much Mr. Ron hasn't done for the orphans...solar panels, computers, generator repair and his gift of laughter is well shared with everyone.

Nurse Chris - He is an RN from the NCMH OR. He is on his second trip to Haiti with Dr. Mike. He wanted to go in 2007 and he assisted with surgery and medical clinic on that trip. When the news of the earthquake hit him he didn't hesitate to ask, When are you going? I want to go to! Chris is a great organizer and is a wonderful asset to the team.

Dr. Brown - General Surgeon who hails from Newberry County. When he was asked if he could go and be prepared to do amputations or anything that was required...he said let me ask my wife and soon brought back the answer...I'll go!

Dr. Leo Vieria - Fellow Resident with Dr. Mike from Florida. Mike and Leo went to Honduras together in 2001 and through facebook found out about the trip and signed on immediately. His background of travel experience and his knowledge of several foreign languages and medicine make him a great asset to the team.

Nurse Joel lives in Greenville and works at Laurens County Healthcare System with Dr. Mike. He has prior mission experience in Africa and is both a nurse and information technology expert. He has mission field water purification experience and is a wonderful addition to the team.

God formed this team of doctors, nurses and computer guys to help the hurting people of Haiti. Their skills and knowledge in many different areas gives this team strength where one person alone may be weak. The personalities of the men on this team compliment one another and no one is in Haiti to benefit himself...but to give and give whatever is needed at whatever hour it may be.
