Clifford's Health Issues Where What Brought Him To Our Attention. He had surgery a couple of months after he arrived!
The Day We Decided To Adopt August 2007
Forever in our home and hearts! Clifford Jay White walked on US soil for the first time 5 months ago today. I'm amazed that if we would have waited a few weeks before starting the paperwork, he might not be with us right now. God has provided protection, love and the ability for us to all adjust to this new person he added to our family. In five months, he's out grown size 4T pants and weighs 2.5 lbs. more! He's a joy to know and even though he's still adjusting to his entire world changing, he's been accepted by most everyone. We do get some interesting reactions to him, but since the earthquake we all hold him a little tighter and love each other more. Just knowing that everything could be lost in an instant is humbling.
