Feb. 2 A Medical Team with team members from Newberry, Laurens, Jacksonville, FL and Tampa, FL left for Haiti. Five team members left from Columbia, SC while one doctor met up with them in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. They flew into Santiago, Dominican Republic and then were flown in to Jacmel, Haiti. They then drove 4 hours through PAP and up the coast on Haiti's Western side to reach the Cabaret Baptist Children's Home. The flights were made possible by a very generous Columbia businessman, Mr. McGuinn and Columbia retired dentist Dr. Bobby McBride.The map is just a simple (not to scale) picture of the trip that these brave and diligent men took to help Haiti.
