AWESOME!

Friday morning I was in a waiting room at Montgomery and Riddle Eye Care in Newberry and my cell phone rang. Dr. Leo's wife, Guiga, was calling from Tampa. Her first question was..."Do you have Dick's Sporting Goods near you?" Yes I replied. She said they are going to give us $50 tents for $25 but we have to get them to the pilot. After many phone texts and calls, I was in Larry and Rita Cromer's Suburban headed to Columbia.

The tents were at the front of the store waiting on me when I arrived. They were not huge at all so I called the pilot and told him what I had and he said, "I can get them to Haiti on Sunday, if you can get them to me in Atlanta!" He was in Tennessee headed home.

The Lord provided homes for Leanna and Lauren and he provided a faithful friend for my trip to Atlanta. Shelly Hatch, Clifford and I headed to Atlanta at 6pm. We had a 45 minute stop on the interstate because of a wreck, but arrived safely at the home of Brett and Ann. They graciously took the tents and added them to the insulin and antibiotics that they would be flying to Haiti with today.

Our return trip was uneventful. We arrived at Shelly's house at 3 am and I found that my van would not start! God had provided Shelly's van for the trip. I checked my email at 3:30am and saw where my husband had sent me this message "Karin, You are an amazing woman. I knew you were going to get involved somehow. Please be careful."

What was amazing was that 24 hours after Ron posted the need for 20 tents, we had 20 tents on their way to Haiti. God provided for every need in this situation and He's the awesome one, not me!
